Many people show their excitement whenever they get a new iPhone for their daily use and as a result they show a lot of caution and consideration whenever they have to make use of it. But over time all this enthusiasm and caution fade away, as it happens with any thing that you acquire and have it for some time. You will exhibit less care when handling the device simply because you think that you are used to it and nothing wrong can happen. But what if once, by mistake you happen to drop it right in the middle of the street when reaching to answer a phone call? These devices are made indeed as solid as they can be, but with some situations they can simply become damaged especially at the area they are the most vulnerable: the screen.
You will be surprised to find out that a crack appeared on the screen making you regret the moment when you needed to take out the iPhone from its case to answer that phone call. Maybe that call wasn’t that important after all and didn’t worth having your screen cracked. But with all the anger that falls upon you, there is no need to panic since these days you are given with the chance to fix the screen in an easy manner. Just make sure that the damage is not that big and check whether or not the screen is still on. If it is on, it means that the LCD is not compromised, but even better, it is intact.
As it was mentioned above, these days iPhone screens are more improved as they are created with two screens: the operable one (as an external screen) and the Liquid Crystal Display that projects the images that appears on the screen.
So, if the second screen is still functional it means that only the external one is damaged and in this case, it can be repaired by replacing it with a new one. In case the display is not working at all after the fall, it means that both of the screens are damaged, and replacing them will be an expensive process. As to the replacing of the external screen, this procedure can be done within any iPhone repair workshop unless you are not interested in doing this on your own. If this is the case, then you should look for a shop that sells spare parts or even look online for an external display and then follow the online instructions in replacing it.
