Android Beats iOS
The Linux-based operating system is getting the highest points and beating the iOS. The latest researches show that Android conquers the marketplace but iOS devices are just a little behind. Its share on the worldwide market is 64% and another powerful winner is Samsung that manages to sell 90 million handset devices. The figures don’t lie and now all users might see the real picture and get aware of the true leader.
There are no more doubts even for Apple fans about the fact that iOS is losing in the competition now. The research covering the second quarter of the current year starting from April to June. If you remember Android devices had good sales results while iPhones were cooling down. The new Samsung model Galaxy S III was released in late May and that could bring the effective results for the company in the next quarter. This year brought the winning points to Samsung as it beat Nokia in the mobile devices market. Even though the previous quarter showed 33 million iPhones sold, nevertheless Android managed to get the top positions according to the previous financial report.
The experts show concern that iPhone sales are decreasing; this fact causes doubts and unpleasant rumors for Apple that the expected iPhone 5 might not answer analysts’ expectations. Consumers are not purchasing iPhones now as they are waiting for the new smartphone model. According to the report Android it sold 98 million units during the last quarter. The battle between iOS and Android is still in the process and whole the mobile platform is winning the ecosystem of Android is still behind.
